Meet T.J. Martin
T.J. is currently living
in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He is attending The University of Alabama for a Masters
in Communication Studies while working in the Ridgecrest South Community as the
Assistant Community Director. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from
Troy University in Communication Arts (Speech Communication Track) with a minor in Leadership Studies. After
receiving his degree from Troy he worked in nonprofit management for Team Focus, Inc. building and running a
leadership development and mentoring program for fatherless young men in
Auburn, Opelika, Prattville, Troy, and Montgomery.
He grew up in Opelika,
Alabama and is a proud graduate of Opelika High School. Growing up in the South
he was taught the importance of family, education, and service. From serving as a
leader in collegiate organizations to the challenges of establishing and managing
a non-profit he has many stories and valuable experiences to draw from and
share. He has had the opportunity to travel across
Alabama and the South presenting and speaking about communication, leadership,
and the need for community service involvement.
